In the first quarter of 2017, the national photovoltaic power generation has been maintaining in rapid growth----the newly-installed capacity reaches 721 million kilowatts----basically the same as the same period in 2016, of which, the centralized PV power capacity is 4.78 million kilowatts, down by 23%; and distributed photovoltaic newly-installed capacity is 2.43 million kilowatts, an increase of 151%. The newly-installed capacity of centralized photovoltaic power was falling down and on the other hand, the distributed photovoltaic power generation speeding up. The total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation has reached 84.63 million kilowatts nationwide, of which the centralized PV power installed capacity is 71.88 million kilowatts and distributed PV power installed capacity is 12.75 million kilowatts.
In the first quarter, photovoltaic power generation is 21.4 billion KWH, on a year-on-year basis it increases 80%. The national PV power excess, however, is 2.3 billion KWH. Figure shows that Ningxia, Gansu declining sharply, respectively by 10% and 19%, if compared with the same period last year decreased by about 10 and 20 percentage; Qinghai, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia provinces (autonomous regions) PV power excess rate increased, respectively by 9 %, 11%, 8%; Xinjiang (including Corps) PV power excess rate is still as high as 39%.
By the layout of the PV power installation, the central and eastern regions become the main growth with a newly-installed capacity of 6.39 million kilowatts accounting for 89% of the newly-installed capacity nationwide. The development of distributed photovoltaic capacity continues to accelerate with its concentration in provinces of Zhejiang, Shandong, Anhui and Jiangsu, among which, our company handles Huawei's smart PV inverter shipments for more than 100MW by January to March 20, far more than the same period last year, and is expected to go over 220 mw or more by 30 June 2017.
